Ash born November 1, 1973 is the world famous Indianactress.

Prior to her career in film, she worked as a model and gained fame for winning the Miss World contest in 1994. She made her film debut in Mani Ratnam's Tamil film, Iruvar (1997) and had her first critical and commercial success with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999), with whom she repeated this success with Devdas (2002).

Since then, she has acted in nearly forty Hindi, Tamil, Bengali and English films.Often touted as the most beautiful woman in the world, she is one of the most popular actresses of India and has worked on many international projects, such as Bride & Prejudice (2003) and The Last Legion (2007).

Aishwarya Rai is currently married to Indian actor Abhishek Bachchan and is the daughter-in-law of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan.

This Calcutta based commerce graduate model came into limelight when she won Ford Supermodels Contest.

At 17, Bipasha won the famous Ford Supermodel Contest and was flown to New York by the Ford people.

Life was exciting! She gushes, “I was spotted by the world famous photographer, Steven Mizhel, and featured in Vogue magazine. I was thrilled and soon had plenty of projects coming my way.”

Bipasha could have had the world at her feet and easily gained acclaim as an international model, but she gave it all up for India... to come down and be with the people she loves. “Yeah, I did a lot of ads, but my heart was not in it. I started missing my family because it was the first time I was away from them. So I happily gave it all up and came down to India”, she reminisces.

Her modeling career started off with advertisements campaigns for Liril Soap, Close-Up toothpaste and Limca etc. After that she received many celebrated modeling contracts that included brand ambassadorship of the Jewels of India, an annual jewelry exhibition.

But she came into prominence with the advertisement for Maybelline. The prestigious cosmetic company made her their new international cover face.

Deepika was honored with the title of the ‘Model of the Year’ at the fifth annual Kingfisher Fashion Awards for Indian models and designers. She was also the chosen face for the Kingfisher Swimsuit Calendar for 2006.

Deepika also won two trophies at the Idea Zee F Awards in 2006- Female Model of the Year (Commercial Assignments) and Fresh Face of the Year. These laurels elevated and established her status from a model to a supermodel.
